Bizkaia Talent enters into a collaboration agreement with the Deusto Business School to award grants to members of the Talentia Network to participate in the ESG Investment and Finance Summer Programme
On 26 and 27 June Bizkaia will host the international summit on responsible investment Biscay ESG Global Summit. This event will gather international experts on a subject which is becoming more and more relevant in the world of finance, as environmental, social, genre or diversity criteria are increasingly taken into account when making investment decisions.
This responsible investment meeting is framed within the effort of the Provincial Council of Biscay to turn the territory into a “financial hub” again and will be accompanied by one of the most intensive and comprehensive seminars in Europe to be held at the University of Deusto: the “ESG Investment and Finance Summer Programme”, which this year will focus on responsible investment and will take place from 26 to 30 June. It is the first university programme with 30 hours of training exclusively aimed at all the agents who make up the environmental, social and governance (ESG) ecosystem.
Bizkaia Talent is aware of the importance of this initiative and wants to collaborate with the programme by helping with its dissemination and offering the opportunity to participate. Thus, the organization to attract, retain and link Talent to Biscay – Basque Country has just entered into an agreement with the Deusto Business School to award enrolment grants for the ESG Investment and Finance Summer Programme among the participants of the Talentia Network.
The managing director of Bizkaia Talent, Ivan Jimenez, reminds that “irrespective of the year in which the students participated, if they were part of the Talentia programme or the Competencies for Professionalism in Biscay programme, they may be eligible for this grant. Thanks to it, Bizkaia Talent will pay 50% of the enrolment fee of the programme”. “It is only valid for the first ten applications and therefore it is important for them to apply as soon as possible and to mention their being part of the Talentia network so as to be able to apply for the grant” the managing director added.
