Ikerbasque launches a new call to hire researchers permanently

• The “Permanent Positions 2023” call for applications will remain open until the 15th September 2023.

Ikerbasque, the Basque Foundation for Science, offers 10 permanent positions for researchers willing to develop a long-term scientific career in the Basque Country.

This call is open both to:

• Established researchers: postdoctoral researchers who conduct research independently with an established reputation based on research excellence in their field. They will obtain a permanent position as Research Associates.
• Senior leading researchers: with international reputation based on research excellence in their field and a proven record in securing significant research funding. They will obtain a permanent position as Research Professors.

Researchers are expected to perform independent research. They should be capable of attracting competitive funding and establishing their own research groups. Applications from women are especially welcomed.
