Ikerbasque launches a new call to hire researchers permanently

- The “Permanent Positions” call for applications will remain open until the 12th of September 2024.
Ikerbasque, the Basque Foundation for Science, offers 10 permanent positions for researchers willing to develop a long-term scientific career in the Basque Country.
This call is open both to:
- Established researchers: postdoctoral researchers who conduct research independently with an established reputation based on research excellence in their field. They will obtain a permanent position as Research Associates.
- Senior leading researchers, with international reputation based on research excellence in their field and a proven record in securing significant research funding, will obtain a permanent position as Research Professors.
The candidates should have a strong scientific background, a high level of professional maturity and extensive international experience. Researchers are expected to perform independent research. They should be capable of attracting competitive funding and establishing their own research groups.
Applications from women are especially welcomed.
