bizkaia:talent, during their mission in the United States held high level meetings with multilateral organizations

Bizkaia:talent, during their mission in the United States in February, held high level meetings with multilateral organizations such as the United Nations Organization in New York, the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank in Washington.

During these meetings, which he attended the Department of Economic Development of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, they analyzed the various opportunities that these Organizations can offer for the business development of the companies which form part of the clusters which accompanied bizkaia:talent: GAIA and LANGUNE. The first is the Basque association of companies in the Electronics and Information Technology sector, the second, LANGUNE, is the Basque association of companies in the Language Industry sector. This Association was established in 2010 and gathers more than 35 entities in the fields of translation, content, teaching and language technologies.

At the meetings they dealt with very important issues related to Education, Information Technologies (ICTs), Smart cities, etc.

Many of the meetings served to meet Basque people who work for these multilateral organizations and present them the newly established Be Basque Talent Network, promoted by bizkaia:talent, which is the world’s largest talent network made up of professionals who have or would like to have a link to the Basque Country.
