Bizkaia Talent brings together the international community to welcome in the summer
- A party was held at the BBK Talent Home building of the BBK Foundation.
On the 16th June Bizkaia Talent gathered together a group of international professionals and post-graduates, together with their families, at a party held on the terrace of the BBK Talent Home in order to welcome in the summer in an entertaining evening event.
The event brought together over 40 people, who split up into various groups and participated in a game about Basque culture, the aim of which was to discover the most emblematic secrets and traditions of the Basque Country. By means of the game the participants were able to establish personal and working relationships with the people who have spent the longest time in our territory and with those who have only arrived recently. This is the typical type of event which Bizkaia Talent carries out to facilitate the social integration of people who come to the Basque Country either to develop their professional careers or to continue with their educational formation.
17 different nationalities
The people who attended the event were from Argentina, Belarus, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, the USA, Egypt, Honduras, Iran, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Dominican Republic, Romania and the Spanish State. All of them are currently carrying out their professional activities in the following organizations: IDOM, Tecnalia Research & Innovation, Deusto University, BCAM – Basque Center for Applied Mathematics, BC3 – Basque Centre for Climate Change, BCMaterials – Basque Center on Materials, Applications and Nanostructures, the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Mosaikus, Gorabide and Ikerbasque.
